Regensburg - How to get there

Arrival by Plane:
There are two airports close (approx. 120 km distance) to Regensburg.
The more international one is Munich Airport (München - Muc)
The second smaller one is Airport Nuernberg (Nürnberg - NUE)

Regensburg could be easily reached no matter from where you are traveling.


Arrival at Munich Airport:                                                                    
If you arrive at Munich Airport, there are two ways to get to Regensburg: 

  • Shuttle service:
    There is also a commercial shuttle service running from Munich Airport to Regensburg.

    Costs: 42 EUR. Advance online booking necessary!
  • Bus and train to Regensburg:
    If you take the train from the Munich airport to Regensburg. Take the bus 635 departing from in front of the airport's central area (Z) to the train station in Freising (the trip takes approximately 20 minutes) and change here to a train to Regensburg. All trains running between Munich and Regensburg stop at Freising. This will save you time and money. Costs for train and bus are 19 EUR.

Arrival by Train:
In cooperation with Regensburg University Hospital and Deutsche Bahn
you travel safely and conveniently to the congress.

159 Euro* (Round-trip ticket, 1st Class)
